Our Story
About
Korean Elder Stories began as a conversation between two friends who wanted to capture the voices of a generation before those voices are gone.
This project began as a conversation between two friends who wanted to capture the voices of a generation before those voices are gone. We sat down with our Korean elders — individuals who built new lives in a foreign land, never let go of their faith, and kept God close — and asked them to share their story.
Through recorded interviews and transcripts, you'll find real voices, real memories, and real testimonies unique to each and every elder. Whether that's building a community from scratch or holding on to God through the hardest of times, each story carries a level of faith and joy that we hope moves you, inspires you, and connects you deeper with the people who have kept the faith since day one.
Two friends, one archive.

Why This Project
Korean elders carry decades of history — colonization, war, immigration, the building of new lives in new countries — and most of those stories have never been recorded.
We are running out of time to listen. This project is our small way of changing that.
